Recent Races and Other Exploits

SAVANNAH SKIRT CHASER

Ahhhhh.

Race season in the Low Country:  cool temperatures, beautiful scenery, exhilarating runs.

Except on October 31st, when it was about 90 degrees for the inaugural Skirt Chaser 5K on Hutchinson Island.  Good LORD it was hot.  It was pretty cool to run on the Hutchinson Island Raceway, but the temps were stifling.

Before the race at the Westin Savannah, with the beautiful Savannah River behind us.  It's purty to look at, just don't fall in or you'll sprout another head.

Josh Lowther, stylin' and profilin' before the race.

SUPAH-STAH!  (not)

Catch me if you can!  I LOVE this shirt.  For the record, the hubby did NOT catch me.

AFTER the race, looking a little ragged, eh?  It was fricking HOT.

DOWNTOWN BEAUFORT

I love living in Beaufort.  We took these pics on the waterfront after an AMAZING brunch at Southern Graces at the Beaufort Inn.  If you have not been.... GO TO BRUNCH AT SOUTHERN GRACES.  Sundays.  $20/person.  AMAZING.

HHI Bridge Run

This time, it was cool.  A beautiful, brisk fall morning.  The sun was shining, and the peeps turned out for the 18th annual bridge run.
