Race for the Cure Savannah

What an awesome event. Savannah's first Race for a Cure, to benefit the Susan Komen Foundation had THOUSANDS of runners. It was a truly inspiring sight to see so many people show up for an inaugural event. It was a great morning. I ran well, saw lots of friends, and if I didn't have to listen to Paula Deen mention the dimples on her behind, it would have been a perfect morning.

The Heritage 2009

Ahh, The Heritage. Hilton Head's answer to Wimbledon or Augusta National. Every year, the South's more irreverent golf fans descend upon Harbor Town for drinking, socializing, and some golf watching.

Darrin Clark has nothing on Josh in these pants.

The HAAR-BAH.

Me.

Spring Fling Run

I was supposed to run the Cooper River Bridge Race. SOOOO many things were not lining up to go to Charleston. Luckily, we found the Spring Fling 5K on HHI to do instead. This race on Coligny Beach benefited a local guy in need of a kidney transplant. So not only did we get to run on this beautiful beach on a beautiful day, but we got to help someone too. Never hurts.

Yep.... I beat him.
